Requirement
Harbour Lifestyle knew that the complexities of this role needed a different approach from the usual job advert style of recruitment. Rosslyn David’s proactive, search and select style approach was the most effective way of finding the correct Director of Content.
To this point they had an idea of the person and skillset they were looking for, but needed to clarify if this was realistic when taking into consideration: the scope of the work, the experience needed, the location, and guidance on the appropriate salary to attract the right person.

Solution
Harry ran a thorough project mapping the candidate market specific to the need, to target candidates that were already embedded in the Luxury goods sector and had a good understanding of the geography holding the target customers.
First building a directory of all Luxury goods companies located within 25 miles of the Harbour Offices.
From here he selected the personnel who showed the most promise within photography and videography, editing experience, an adept understanding of the mechanics of each social media platform, and the changing trends associated with each platform.
He then ran a targeted Headhunt/outreach campaign. This would include the C.80% of prospective candidates who are not ‘active’ jobseekers.
Harry held prequalification conversations/interviews with 10 prospective candidates before introducing a final shortlist of 4 candidates to the client.
From this shortlist, Harbour Lifestyle progressed 3 candidates to interview, followed up with a subsequent offer and placement.

“Harry worked on a vital placement for our business. He understood the brief perfectly and sourced two highly suitable candidates that we had difficulty in choosing between at final stage.
He is a great communicator, does what he says, and is someone i’d absolutely trust to fill future marketing roles.”
